First Start Gone Bad


Joba Chamberlain lasted two and 0ne third innings Tuesday night in his first MLB start. Chamberlain threw 62 pitches and did not get the win or the lost. Joba Chamberlain threw 38 pitches in the first inning of his first MLB start. The Yankees lost the game 9-3 after the Yankees fell apart in the top of the 7th inning. The winning pitcher for the Blue Jays Roy Halladay, threw for 6 innings with 6 hits and 3 K's. Derek Jeter went 2 for 5 tying Mickey Mantle for third place on the Yankees all-time hit list with 2,415 hits. The Blue Jays had 12 hits withs npo errors. The Yankees had 9 hits with 1 error. The Yankees trying to come back with a win tonight with Mussina on the mound at 7pm. Hopefully the Yankees could take a win tonight.
